What can your car do?

Enter the brand, model and generation. We’ll then show you what can be switched on via diagnostics.

What is coding, and what is it good for?

The control units in modern VAG-group cars (Audi, Skoda, Volkswagen, Seat, Cupra) contain many functions that the factory leaves switched off for a given trim level or market. Some of them can be enabled or changed with a diagnostic tool such as VCDS, OBDeleven or ODIS. This is called coding, or adaptation.

If a function also needs new hardware (a different lamp, display or sensor), it is a retrofit. We mark these as their own category.

We collect the options car by car. Each entry lists the control unit involved, the tool you need, the difficulty level and the steps.
